82% have private tuition, says Loyola survey A survey of students from Std.VII to XII of Loyola showed that 82% of the 407 respondents have private tuition. A survey of 262 parents revealed that the vast majority spend more than Rs.800 per month on their children's private tuition. 37% of the students felt that private tuition was "not at all necessary" and could be avoided, but 22% said that tuition and schooling were complementary.The survey was conducted by Dr. Soorya Moorthy of Loyola College.
Entrance Coaching, Summer Camps The school is hosting Engineering and Medical Entrance Exam Coaching in March and April. Coaching for football, basketball, cricket, karate and athletics is also being arranged at Loyola during the summer vacation.
